2). remove the air stopper and find an appropriate adapter
3). insert the adapter to the end of the mattress pump
4). start pumping by flipping a power switch

3. How does this product work?
A: Alternating Pressure Mattresses are designed to be used by bedridden patients who have lost the ability to move in bed, change their resting position or with lowered mental awareness level. It uses a low air loss therapy system to keep the patient cool and dry during the healing process. There is an integrated foam pad below the mattress which allows direct use of the mattress on the bed grid. It also uses different levels of pressure as required to allow for redistribution to keep pressure ulcers from developing around the body. Besides, air cushions can be adjusted individually based on the comfort requirements that the patient may have.
